Have you ever noticed that some times the human mind gives its best when pressured, the mind becomes more creative when face with urgent decisions. The Igbos Southeast Nigeria has a saying which loosely translated means "the true test of a man is seen in the period of adversity". Many loath challenges, despise difficulties, get frustrated with sufferings and cave in easily during trials.
But hey! That is not the right attitude to respond to such situation. You can't just turn back because of a seeming difficult situation. You would have lost twice the energy which you would put to good use in surmounting whatever challenge you face
Real men don't whine and whimper when they come upon adversities, in fact some of them court it; for in it they draw inspirations to launch them into the next level of success. When you look deeply into the opening proverb you will further understand the message.
In your journey towards success, you will come across adversities if you doubt ask Edison, the Wright brothers, and even modern day entrepreneurs but the big question is what do you make of them? Stumbling block or building block.
The choice of being a real man or woman is yours and no one can make it for you. It is said that choices not chances define who we are. May wisdom characterize your decision
Morning prayer
Thank you, Lord, for the generosity of your will. Help me sink my roots into your word and your grace so that I can bear the fruit of your Kingdom. Give me a heart that loves what is good and in accord with your will and fill me with your wisdom that I may understand your ways. Give me the grace and courage to reject whatever is evil and contrary to your will. Lord, I long to see you face to face. Help me to see you and love you in everyone I meet today. Holy Spirit, soften my heart. Teach me how to love, and help me to forgive. I want to walk in your freedom. Amen.
